Loner, Creeper

about

I always felt like going through tragedy or significant painful experiences is a concoction for isolation, making you feel like a loner, a weirdo, a creep, an alien. I took inspiration for this song from the old 80’s horror movies. I wanted it to sound creepy, sort of like a stalker preparing for what’s to come. Also, I wanted it to have a foreshadowing effect as well. 80’s movies always have these beginning moments of anticipation and I wanted to capture that in this song with the piano chords and swellings in the beginning. I imagine a camera panning over a sleepy, homey town, the unsuspecting main character so blissfully unaware of what’s to come.
