Are you ready to fight against your inner demons? Are you ready to swim against the current? Are you ready to conquer your fears? Are you ready to become a greater version of yourself than you ever thought possible? Are you ready to Punch Dance your heart out?

This song is a tribute to famous scenes from the 80's like Footloose (1984). This song is a hype song, a feel good/ intense song. Honestly, I've actually found myself dancing & working out & even skating to this song too! It's definitely a fun one! This song is meant to get you pumped up just like those intense Punch Dance songs of old!
Of course, I added my own flairs to this style of song by adding familiar sounds, melodies, chord progressions that I've been known to use in my Synthwave music.

One thing I've always fallen in love with in 80's music is, no matter the subject material, the music in the 80's was always determined, driving and most importantly in my opinion hopeful. And that's what I try to bring to Punch Dance.

On a more personal note, when I think of Punch Dances in general, they've always symbolized the passionate inner struggle of a main character fighting against the current, not following the crowd, not settling for just an "average" life or average opinions on life, preparing of something to come. And that's where life has really been at for me lately. And I've always related to this feeling. In a deeper sense, Punch Dance has been my mantra lately. I'm so ready for life after the pandemic lockdowns and the anxiety and stress and unknowings of life. I'm ready to conquer, I'm ready to get out there and fight to become an even greater version of myself than I ever was before. And have fun doing it!

I hope this song brings you that same joy that it brought to me and it gives you strength, determination, confidence and encouragement!
