Introducing my darkwave cover version of Johnny Cash's Ring of Fire. This is a project that has really meant a lot to me and I've been working on the concept of it for almost a year now. Johnny Cash was a huge part of my musical beginnings and I respect his legacy and music greatly. This project is not like my usual albums/ singles I've released so far. But I've really had a passion for this one since this song holds a really special place in my heart. I've always imagined a darker, more dramatic version to this song and wanted to create it for as long as I can remember. So I decided to finally put it out into the world.
This is the first time I've ever released a full song featuring my own vocals. I think everyone kind of hates their own voice - especially whenever you're your own audio engineer - and I'm definitely no exception. Lol. On top of that, I'm not a professional singer by any means.
But I did have tons of fun regardless, I worked really hard on this whole project and I really hope you all enjoy this song!
